Most families were devastated when losing a child to death this was common but not expected. Flux is when people die and new people come in by marriage or rebirth this went on in medieval families. marriages ended often because of the death of a child or partner. Divorce's were not allowed in the Christan church but really didn't have enough power to prevent divorce. Celtic civil didn't allow under circumstances only adultery or barrenness.
